Inspiration, Well-Being and Success Tips – Week 2

Hello again and well done to you for completing week 2!

So, hopefully you are getting into the swing of reading the notes and then doing the quizzes.

Some topics will be harder for you than others. Don’t panic or worry. Just keep practising because that is the way to improve at anything!

Your Road to Success

Everyone has a road to success.. or at least a possible road to success (depending on how much effort you are willing to put in and also a little bit of luck along the way)!.

We do firmly believe and also know that success in anything is more likely if you work hard for it!

We love a couple of quotes that reflect that:

“Only those who dare to fail greatly can ever achieve greatly”

Robert F Kennedy (a President of United States)

So be brave, go out of your comfort zone and work hard for this!

And most of you will know Walt Disney who said:

” If you can dream it, you can do it”

Here are some tips on how to approach something of importance:

We love James Clear who wrote a fantastic book called Atomic Habits. Here are 3 pieces of wisdom from him:

1. Do less. Stop dividing your attention.

2. Do it right now. Once you have identified the essential, go fast. Maintain a bias toward action.

3. Do it the right way. Acting quickly doesn’t mean acting carelessly. Get to work right away, but keep working on it until it’s right”.

Basically, make a choice on whether you want to try for a Grammar school place, be careful with your time and make progress on it.

And.. don’t forget to believe in yourself!

You have an opportunity here to go to gain a place at an amazing school which could change your life.

So go for it!

Work hard and embrace the challenge.

And lastly, keep smiling!

Oh, just one more thing…….

Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time.”

Thomas Edison (the person who invented the light bulb)!

We love this concept! If you feel like giving up… try one more time. Think of all the great things in history which might not exist if those people had given up!

Will write again at the end of next week for some more inspiration!

Bye for now.
