INSTRUCTIONS

MOVING THROUGH THE COURSE

There is a table of contents on the left hand side which shows where you are in the course.

This means a lesson has been completed (as you tick it to show it has been done)

This is the symbol for a quiz

The blue bar is a heading to show a new week or a new area

Below that, is lesson – make sure you go into that to see if there are any notes (by clicking in the circle)

Check how many quizzes there are within that lesson.

You can expand the list by clicking on the Expand button on the right hand side.

Here is an example lesson and quizzes

                                               IMPORTANT NOTE: DO NOT MISS A QUIZ BY CLICKING “MARK COMPLETE”.

Once you have finished all your attempts at any test, make sure if there is another test directly afterwards in the table on left hand side.

If not, click on the next lesson in that table and carry on.

You move to the next lesson by clicking mark complete and then moving to next lesson (see buttons below)

TAKING THE TESTS

All tests are:

Taken online on a computer,smartphone or tablet

Instantly marked at the end of the test

Some tests:

are timed / others are not (it will always say at the start)

have lots of topics within them and will give an overall mark and also mark each category within the test

At the start of the test:

Read the instructions on the amount of questions, whether there is a time limit and also the format of the questions (type, multiple choice or click and drag).

Click on the button which says “Start Quiz”.

For the majority of tests the questions are in a table at the top, and this will allow you to go back into a specific question.

Once you have started the quiz:

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE TEST MUST NOT BE STOPPED MID-WAY THROUGH OTHERWISE YOU WILL LOSE YOUR RESULTS AND YOU WILL LOSE ONE OF YOUR ATTEMPTS

Click Next button to go forwards

Click Back button to go backwards

Only click Review test at the end if you need to.

Don’t forget to go back to a specific question, you can use the table at the top.

Once you have finished click “Finish Quiz”.

At the end of the test:

If it is your first attempt and you have not scored well, do not look at the answers.

Take the test again using any hints

You should always go back and review your notes before you take your test again if you have scored very low scores.

NOTE: Your Profile Page will have all your test results stored there, and you can review previous test scores at any time.
